In 2008 work commenced on The Square, Eastgate, a mixed use scheme in Chichester of 72 residential units and 11,000 sq.ft. of retail space.
New British Artists
New British Artists will be sponsoring, for the second time, the Vistors Choice Prize. Last year it was won by emerging young artist, Johanna Wilbraham.
New British Artists was established in 1999 to promote the work of the best new graduates from art schools around the UK. They concentrate on artists whose work demonstrates traditional skills and attention to detail, albeit with a contemporary twist. NBA find that their clients appreciate not only their personal service and the range of work on offer, but also the opportunity to follow the progress of their favourite artists as their careers progress. Since its inception as one of the first online Fine Art galleries, New British Artists has grown to represent some 40 new and established artists.
Kenwood / De’Longhi
De’Longhi has been high profile Italian brand for more than 100 years, providing high quality, efficient, innovative, and stylish domestic products, including premium coffee machines. Instantly recognisable, De’Longhi possesses a unique design quality that, when combined with De’Longhi’s technical expertise, creates products that truly stand alone.
Picture Frames
Picture Frames are five Guild Commended Framers based in Shaftesbury with over 75 years experience between them in handling and framing works of art. They have framed artists from Patrick Heron and Peter Blake to upcoming talent like Johnny Bull and Rosie Emerson. They frame for many London galleries and recently completed an exhibition for the Photographer's Gallery, London.
Whilst they have handled original works of art they are now establishing ourselves as a Fine Art Printer and have commenced a publishing program designed to maximise exposure for underexposed artists. Picture Frames have developed a marketing program for artists which includes the production of limited edition prints, the creation of a full scale e-comerce website and selling works through the retail trade as well as promoting artist originals.
From Summer' 08 onwards they will be able to support, advise and help any artist wanting to realise their artistic potential through reproduction of selected works and selling the individual works as part of an emerging group (in the main, self-regulated), rather than struggling as an independent, ivory tower dwelling artist relying on wishes and discovery.
In order to prepare for the oncoming recession all artists must learn how to sell themselves and explore the possibilities of different levels of the art buying public - Picture Frames are here to provide support and empowerment.
